Museum Steinegg

Kirchplatz|Piazza della Chiesa 2

General description
The Steinegg Museum offers an unforgettable excursion into Tyrolean history. Rural life, its roots in religion, the various almost forgotten trades and the painful memories of the wars are just some of the lovingly collected exhibits. On a guided tour through the faithfully reconstructed rooms, chambers and workrooms, you can feel the spirit of simple life at first hand and be fascinated by almost forgotten living and working habits.
An exhibition of native animal species will make children's hearts beat faster.

A new attraction is the opportunity to hear directly from contemporary witnesses about how they lived in earlier times. These exciting interviews can be shown on various screens.

Together for a sustainable Tschögglberg
Together for a sustainable Tschögglberg
Nature reveals its true beauty when we preserve it untouched. The Tschögglberg with its communities of Hafling, Vöran, Mölten and Jenesien is geographically, geologically and scenically unique. This uniqueness must be protected. For this reason, we - the three tourism associations on the Tschögglberg high plateau (Hafling-Vöran-Meran 2000, Mölten and Jenesien) - have decided to make this a central part of our strategy.
