Museum Steinegg

Piazza della Chiesa 2
39053 Steinegg|Collepietra
General description
The Museum offers an unforgettable excursion into Tyrolean history. The rural life, its roots in religion, the various almost forgotten crafts, as well as the painful memories of the wars are only a part of the lovingly collected exhibits. On the journey through the old parlors, chambers and workrooms, you can feel the simple life up close and are fascinated by the way our ancestors dealt with nature.
A new feature is the opportunity to be told directly by historical witnesses how they experienced the past. These exciting interviews can be shown on various screens.

Visits to the museum are only possible with a guided tour (in german and italian languague).
On normal weekdays, a reservation is required within 12 noon of the previous day; on weekends a reservation is obligatory until 5 p.m. on Thursday and until 48 hours before for public holidays.

Together for a sustainable Tschögglberg
Together for a sustainable Tschögglberg
Nature reveals its true beauty when we preserve it untouched. The Tschögglberg with its communities of Hafling, Vöran, Mölten and Jenesien is geographically, geologically and scenically unique. This uniqueness must be protected. For this reason, we - the three tourism associations on the Tschögglberg high plateau (Hafling-Vöran-Meran 2000, Mölten and Jenesien) - have decided to make this a central part of our strategy.
